Thoughts that eradicate fear.

Thoughts that eradicate fear.

  • Everything is pre scripted. What is to happen will happen. What is not a part of the script will never happen
  • There is no such thing as death. What is behind and beyond consciousness is ever present. The state of consciousness repeatedly projects the world and participates in it. Therefore it too never dies. What dies is the shadow; the name and form
  • This age is a very troublesome age. Traditionally it is believed that the world uses this stage to shed its gross before renewing itself. Therefore life forms in this age face challenges that can be intensely traumatic. Sages look at this positively as it symbolizes shedding the past and getting ready for a fresh start
  • There is no one else in this world except you. This may sound very puzzling but look at it this way. A singularity is projecting the world and looking at it through different lenses. Consciousness is playing with itself. If you identify with consciousness the burden of this world is relieved as you realize that all your efforts at dealing with the world is futile

Fear stems from the tendency to identify with the ego, mind and body. To overcome fear one must realize that this construct is temporary and therefore not real as Indian philosophy considers all that is not permanent as false or the part of an illusion. Once one frees itself from the concepts of "me and mine" all fear is conquered

Fear is permanently conquered when, through various methods, the unity behind the manifest world is experienced. When duality is gone and singularity reigns what is there to fear and who exists to experience fear?

The truth does not depend upon realization. It is ever present. At a level all are realized souls because the truth is inherent is existence. Only the viewpoint needs to change

Contemplating the above helps overcome fear, anxiety and stress.

However this is not to belittle the suffering of those who experience these emotions. In this age circumstances have converged to create and accentuate suffering. But there is a silver lining. Suffering makes one question the manifest world and seek answers. Suffering is the shortcut to realization if one decides to adopt the stance of a witness and is able to bear it without being overwhelmed.
