Reaching the center of your being.

Where were you before you were born? What were you before you were born?

Birth is the most destabilizing event that happened in your life. Suddenly you, as an individual, were thrown into a diversity called the world.

You became possessed by the words me and mine. You became busy protecting and defending yourself. You gained an identity that did not exist before you were born and yet you are now forced to become insanely busy with it. You feel it is your most prized possession.

Therefore death terrifies you.

But then death is inevitable. You return again to the unborn state. The identity you feel is everything is abandoned. The only choice you have is how you react. You are either terrified, relieved, or die with the firm affirmation that you never lived. You either die ignorant or you die with knowledge.

The identity you love is nothing but a bunch of desires propelled by actions of the past. Your identity is the carrier of this bundle. It has got nothing to do with you. The real you.

When you intellectually realize how the game is played you seek to extricate yourself. Till the time you are satisfied with the false identity you actively engage with the world.

The false appears real. The real remains hidden. This is the reality of life.

Yet another falsehood is the sense of doership. The false identity is engaged without knowing that events happen by themselves. Thus there are several layers of falsehood that make up this world.

Only the center is real. That center is in your heart region. The heart region is compared to the cave where the light dwells. It is the conduit to the permanence beyond the illusion.

Upon realization the force within consumes every appearance. It is the final death that does not entail another birth.

You carry your freedom within you. You carry the permanent reality within you. The effort that is needed is to merge the mind into the heart. If you can live in the heart instead of in the head, you will begin the process. Your effort is to establish yourself in the silence of the heart and then wait for the heart to drag you in.

Once you begin the end is inevitable.
