A Rotavirus vaccine trial is being planned in a big way in India. The first trial of this vaccine has thrown up disturbing facts. The data clearly reflects that this vaccine will create more cases (5 to 10 times) of a deadly intestinal problem called intussusception than an earlier withdrawn Rotavirus vaccine. The data generated at CMC, Vellore is the most damning with 581/100,000 child-years! However the CMC refuses to release the data despite RTI queries and pressure from doctors and medical scientists. They are hiding something very disturbing. This will mean that with a new trial we will be putting children at great risk. Please sign the petition.
