Why Science Failed.
Why Science Failed.
I have tried to go to the source. When religion ossified and imposed itself upon the people and when people out of sync with spiritual enlightenment became religious heads, it was time to boot religion. The sensible thing would have been to declare, as Jesus and Ramanuja did, that the Truth does not belong to any institution and nor does S/He distinguish between lifeforms or people. That would have opened doors. However this angst as well as widespread poverty was channelized into something radical. This change had to happen and this too was divinely sanctioned. Perhaps it was time that the Spirit withdrew for mankind to learn through errors. Science appeared at this junction and instead of reinforcing natural laws began its journey by rejecting all the wisdom that had collected up to that point. In that sense science began as a destructive force. The early scientists became fodder in the hands of business magnates who viewed scientific discoveries as means to further their business interests. This marriage of science and commerce spelt doom for the earth and all of life as whatever potential science had to learn and benefit humanity was nipped in the bud. Sane voices who sought to merge science and spirituality found no takers and were silenced. However those scientists who sincerely pursued their interests devoid of commercial backing ultimately proved all spiritual laws and precepts. They are the renegades we should now listen to and learn from. Powerful leaders with a spiritual base, intellectuals with spiritual leanings, politicians who have understood the situation and sincere scientists must come together to thwart the plans of the business conglomerate and lead the world towards a regenerative phase. There is a huge element of sacrifice involved. This should happen immediately and fast. There is not much time left.
